The narrowest house in the world can be found in Amsterdam on Singel 7: one meter wide, hardly broader than the front door. In all honesty it is the rear side of the house: the front is actually a lot broader.

Still, the narrowest house of Europe can be found in  the very centre of Amsterdam. Between the Dam and the Nieuwmarkt you can find a teeny-weeny maisonette with a typical Amsterdam bell gable. It is only 2.02 meters wide and six meters deep.
