Utrechtsestraat - In between Rembrandtsquare and Frederiksquare you'll find shopping street the Utrechtsestraat. This busy street has enough specialty stores and boutiques to make it worth a look. Best for design items, gadgets, shoes and clothes.

The best record shop in town called Concetro is located in the Utrechtsestraat on #52-60. Also located here is a shop called 'In de Keuken', which means 'in the kitchen'. As the name may suggest, it's a specialty kitchen supply store that doubles as a posh restaurant. 

With very narrow sidewalks, trams passing in the middle and noisy traffic, it's a very busy street. But the shops there are quiet, interesting and close to one another. Several good restaurants and excellent wine shops are located at the Utrechtsestraat as well.
