Kalvertoren - This shopping centre has about 30 stores, specialty shops and restaurants and is located at the south end of Kalverstraat near Munttoren (Coin Tower). Its stairs, escalator and glass elevator take visitors to the Cafe & Brasserie Kalvertoren on the top floor for a view of the entire city.

The famous floating Flower Market is right around the corner. The North section of the Kalverstraat continues from the Dam square, but then it is called Nieuwendijk (D) which makes a sharp curve left and after a crossing falls into yet another interesting shopping street, Haarlemmerstraat.
